Most of
us begin our week on Monday morning. Are you eager to begin
your day? Do you jump out of bed excited to be going to your
job? Do you enjoy the job that you do? Do you have a pleasant
relationship with your coworkers? Are you appreciated and treated
as a valued employee? Are you compensated fairly for the job
that you do? For some of us, the answer is a resounding “YES.”
Others
complain that they feel enslaved and dread going to their workplace.
Instead of describing their job as “Rewarding, Desirable
and enlightening,” they use words like “Stressful,
Competitive and Demanding.” Some people feel imprisoned
by their job and continue in their torment to pay bills. They
compromise their spiritual health for their only end reward,
the paycheck.
Monetary
gain is not he most important aspect of our life! Many people
judge themselves and others by material assets such as the car,
the house, the bank account, etc. We should make certain conditions
to prevent our “feelings” from being hurt. Resentment,
angers, fears and criticism is only a few of the “negative”
emotions that we can harbor as a result of our job or our lifestyle.
When we say, “That hurt my feelings,” we are really
saying “That hurt my spirit.” A bird with a “sounded”
wing cannot fly and people with “sounded” spirits
cannot rise above negativity to excel in all aspects of life.
Our spirits need liberation from untold years of suppression
and denial for us to experience peace of mind.
When we
were children, we were taught “The Golden Rule.”
We should do unto others, as we would have them do unto us,
but what happens when they do not reciprocate with equal behavior?
If someone hurt their feelings, they were told “to ignore
it, forget, or don’t worry about it.” Many of us
were taught to deny or bury our feelings. This did not allow
for validation of these emotions. Those negative emotions have
been repressed, suppressed, buried, denied, or locked away inside,
forgotten. Although forgotten, they exist as parasites of our
soul.
Poor spiritual
nurturing is how we developed and became “locked inside”
our patterns, beliefs and our attitudes. Emotions that are repressed
will surface in some other area of our life. Negative emotions
cause vibrations to interfere with our natural vibrations and
affect the meridians of the acupuncture system. The vibration
that anger causes can affect the structure and function of the
liver. Fear can affect the kidneys. In this way, all emotions
can alter the electro/magnetic field of the body normally referred
to as the AURA. This is the exact reason that psychological
health should be maintained in addition to the chemical and
structural support to ensure a balanced body, mind and spirit.
Forgiveness,
peace, love, joy and success are available to everyone. If we
desire to attain these states of mind, we must project outward
these emotions and we will achieve positive experiences. You
will “reap what you sow” is an old saying that means
what you choose to focus your attention on will manifest itself
into your life. When you truly believe something, it will become
a reality for you. Altering our perception with thought becomes
matter and all matter has energy vibrations and although matter
cannot be destroyed, it can be changed. We can redefine, refocus
and redirect our feelings, beliefs and states of mind. Changing
our perception and expectations of our job, our coworkers, our
friends, our family, etc. can inspire us to use deliberate conscious
thoughts to achieve balance resultant to those thoughts. We
must change our conscious thoughts in the present if we want
our future to be different.
We need
to learn how to eliminate negativity and erroneous programming
from our lives. We need to change our negative feelings, thoughts
and beliefs if they cause you pain or stress of any kind. Learning
to communicate what we truly feel instead of showing a mask
is the first place o start. If your boss asks: “How are
you?” Do you respond with “I’m fine,”
or do you answer honestly, “I’ve had a stressful
morning; this afternoon will be better.” The second answer
allows the negative emotion to surface into your conscious state
and only then can you remove it from your sub-conscious level.
It doesn’t necessarily matter what the stress were; the
important thing is that they have now lost their destructive
power. The end part of the statement will now be recorded for
the spirit to use as a blueprint. We communicate with ourselves
through word-inspired images. We should use words that will
paint life-enhancing pictures to program “all good things”
for ourselves and for others. This is psychological or spiritual
reprogramming on the subatomic level.
When you
apply “The Golden Rule,” exist in a “positive
frame of mind,” and feel value in what you are doing –
whether at your job, home or elsewhere, consequences of love,
hope, joy and peace of mind will come to you from the person
you project yourself to be instead of from carrying out an obligation
to earn a paycheck.
